Invitation to Participate in the University Students Scientific Competition

The Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Award is pleased to announce that, “Emerging Technologies in Finance and Business,” will be the subject of its 12th Edition University Students Scientific Competition (2024–2025).

Topics:

University students in Bahrain are invited to submit their innovative mobile or computer Applications focused on Fintech and Business solutions. Submissions should showcase the usage of emerging technologies to solve specific challenges and needs within Bahrain's financial and business landscape, such as AI-driven investment platforms or predictive analytics for personalized financial planning, among others. The competition encourages collaboration between students from various academic disciplines, including business, IT, and engineering, to promote multidisciplinary approaches to innovation. Entries will be evaluated based on originality, feasibility, and their potential impact on positioning Bahrain as a Fintech leader.

Submission Requirements:

1. All submitted Applications must be original.
2. The Application must not have been submitted for any previous awards.
3. A detailed document explaining the functionality and innovation behind the Application should be submitted along with the Application itself, following the guidelines outlined in the submission form to Kanoo.award@kanoo.com.
4. The Application should be functioning for a period of five months after the submission date for evaluation purposes.
